Integration with Visio

Microsoft Visio is diagramming software that is part of the Microsoft Office software suite. Several Apprentice products utilize Microsoft Visio for its diagramming capabilities.  The Apprentice Product Modeler can be used to generate intelligent systems applications that have Visio as the end user interface.  In addition, Visio is integrated with the other Microsoft Office products and therefore Apprentice applications benefit automatically from this level of integration provided by Visio.

Further Integration Provided By Apprentice

Apprentice applications are able to integrate of Microsoft Office applications and SQL Server as well as other ODBC sources. We provide a seamless integration to Excel for the creation of bills of materials and sales proposal generation.

Integration through XML

XML is the standard Microsoft uses for data exchange between all their products. All Apprentice knowledge models are stored in XML, making your knowledge model 'application agnostic' - able to be used by current and future Microsoft products, or any software tool that embraces the XML standard.
